Meet Me

After a year of sabbatical and visiting 40 continental United States in a 30-foot camper, I have embraced what is important in life: connecting with other humans whether it's family, friends, or a new community. Taking the time to breathe and evaluate my purpose has led me to a career change as an Instructional Designer, where I employ a strong skill set in creative and collaborative learning strategies.

If you need an instructional designer that can do more than develop eLearning modules according to industry standards, I'm your person. I bring experience not only with ID but also as an educator for 7 years and as a counselor for 7 years. My process and philosophy stem from the importance of human connections- whether talking or listening with the learner, the SME, or the stakeholders, I am able to relate on a level that raises my eLearning course design and development to outstanding and innovative.

I am a life-long learner and lover of people. Below are some of my proud accomplishments that have helped define my life. I'd love to chat about any of these with you!

Taking 15 months to travel the country in a camper and see National Parks, museums, libraries and family/friends.

I developed a patent, went to the Chicago Home Show and met with a product buyer from a large company about development.

Climbing a 14ers is not only challenging, but incredibly rewarding.

I created and presented an action plan and the city council implemented my suggestions to improve safety.

I trained to drive a Lamborghini Gallardo while in Nevada. It was only 8 laps, but an incredible experience.

In my 20's I worked full-time as the general contractor on a home we custom designed, hired sub-contractors and managed the entire build.

Taking the risk to homeschool my 3 kids while traveling on the road.

I moved within the education system to continue to learn and grow from social studies teacher to a school counselor at multiple levels.
